Judy Hamilton

Judy Hamilton is a seasoned commercial and civil litigator, Principal and head of the firm's Litigation Group. Her practice covers a broad range of litigation areas, including employment law, professional negligence, mortgage enforcement, lease disputes, breach of contract, tort claims, shareholder and partnership disputes, debt collection, real estate transactions, director’s and officer’s liability, and estates.

Prior to joining Friedmans in 2010, Judy was a partner with a boutique Toronto litigation firm. She is a graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School, where she was awarded the Helen Kinnear Family Law Prize. Before going to law school Judy taught high-school English and French.
