Our firm was founded in 2002 by William (Bill) Friedman, a senior member of the Ontario bar.

After more than two decades as a partner and practitioner with large Bay Street firms, Bill saw the need for a different type of legal practice: one that prioritizes clients over billables, and quality service over frills.

Starting with one desk in an old bank vault, and growing into a thriving practice with more than thirty lawyers and support staff, Friedmans LLP has become a fixture of the Ontario legal market.
