Selina Piekarski

Associate, Corporate & Real Estate

Selina is an associate at the firm. Prior to her call to the bar, Selina completed her articles in Friedman’s civil litigation department. She now enjoys working in a variety of the firm’s areas, including corporate, real estate, and commercial and civil litigation. Prior to joining Friedmans, Selina worked as a summer student in the area of construction litigation in Ottawa, Ontario.

Selina earned her B.A. from McGill University, where she held the position of student president of her program, Industrial Relations. She completed a Canadian-American dual J.D. from Windsor University and Detroit Mercy School of Law, graduating cum laude. In law school, Selina was associate editor of the Windsor Review of Legal and Social Issues and volunteered with both Community Legal Aid as a caseworker and Pro Bono Students Canada as a project lead.
