Patrick Fontaine

Associate, Litigation & Estates

Patrick is an associate lawyer practicing in the firm’s Litigation Group and Estates Group. 

Patrick obtained his law degree from the Université de Moncton in 2019, having also completed a legal internship at the New Brunswick Court of Appeal during his legal studies. Upon obtaining his law degree, Patrick relocated to Toronto and joined the firm in 2019 as an articling student. Patrick was called to the Ontario bar in 2020.

Patrick’s practice focuses primarily on civil litigation, estate litigation and administration, and employment law. Patrick takes pride in his oral and written advocacy, and is committed to achieve optimal results for his clients, while always remaining mindful of the time, costs and pressures of litigation.

Patrick has represented his clients before many courts and tribunals, including the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Toronto Estates List, the Tax Court of Canada, the Ontario Small Claims Court and the Landlord and Tenant Board.

Patrick is fluently bilingual and can offer services in both official languages (French and English).

Outside the office, Patrick can be found on the golf course or at his family’s cottage on Manitoulin Island.
