Daniel Kumer

Daniel’s main practice area is commercial real estate. Daniel has more than 15 years of experience advising on difficult and complex negotiations and documentation related to commercial real estate law and related corporate law, including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, development, planning matters and leasing, in the retail, office, industrial and multi-residential sectors.

In addition to his experience in law, Daniel has extensive institutional grade business experience, including previous roles as a senior executive at one of Canada’s largest retail REITs and Canada’s largest developer of unenclosed shopping centres, respectively. Daniel draws upon his business and legal education and experience to understand his clients’ objectives and provide them with the best possible legal services.
