Adam Deverett

Associate, Real Estate

Adam's practice is focused on commercial and residential real estate matters, including condominium organization and development, financing, planning, and various other transactional matters.

Prior to joining Friedmans (where he also articled), Adam worked as a summer legal student for IMAX where he assisted with contracts, trademarks, and copyrights. Adam also independently authored an article concerning social justice in relation to testamentary freedom and combatting racial discrimination.

While in law school, Adam represented Queen’s University in the Walsh Family Law Moot at the Osgoode Hall courts before Superior Court judges. While at Queen’s Law, Adam was a co-host for segments of Queen’s Law Pro Bono Radio, a volunteer editor for the Queen’s Law Journal, and a core member of the Queen’s Law Orientation program.
